Our Services

Our Services for Homes and Businesses

The experienced professionals at Midwest Tree provide comprehensive arborist services for residential and commercial properties throughout Olathe.

Structural Pruning and Canopy Thinning

We remove crowded and crossing branches to improve airflow, increase sunlight penetration, and promote stronger tree structure. Proper pruning also helps reduce the risk of disease.

Tree Risk Assessment

Our arborists inspect trunk stability, root health, branch structure, and overall tree condition before severe weather arrives. You’ll receive a detailed assessment of any potential hazards around your property.

Tree Cabling and Bracing

Weak branch unions and split trunks can often be preserved with professional cabling and bracing systems. These reinforcements improve stability and help valuable trees withstand strong winds.

Disease Diagnosis and Treatment

We identify fungal diseases, root rot, bacterial infections, and other tree health problems. Every treatment plan targets the underlying cause to encourage long-term recovery.

Insect and Pest Control

Borers, aphids, and other destructive insects can damage trees long before symptoms become obvious. We treat infestations early and monitor tree health throughout the growing season.

Tree Removal

Dead, diseased, or hazardous trees are safely removed using cranes, bucket trucks, and specialized equipment. Every removal includes complete debris cleanup, leaving your property clean and ready to use.

They did nothing to protect the grass is my backyard. While cutting down the tree across the street from us they knocked branches on my tree and said nothing to me.

I was planning to cut down a diseased chanticleer pear tree in my backyard, and needed the stump ground and removed and the branches and debris hauled off. I called Midwest and one other company. The other company never returned my call, but Midwest got back to me right away. I sent pictures, and their bid was very reasonable, in line with my expectations, so I agreed. I asked when they could do the work, and they said, "Today or tomorrow morning." I replied that I hadn't cut down the tree yet, and asked how much extra that would cost. When they told me, I couldn't believe it - I went ahead and had them remove the tree as well. They came out the next morning with a full crew. The supervisor also recommended trimming the river birch in our front yard, which we knew was needed, so they did that as well - also for a reasonable price. They were done in a few hours, did a thorough job, and left the yard clean. I highly recommend them.

Great service at a great price. Had them come out to do some brush cleanup initially, and had two trees removed on top of that for I price I didn't think possible. They were out two days after my quote and did a great job with the removals and cleanup. Will definitely use them again.
