Tree Trimming Service You Can Count on in Olathe, KS
When You Need to Cut Trees in Olathe?
Tree cutting becomes necessary when full removal is the only safe option left. Because sometimes trimming or pruning won’t fix structural failure, root collapse, or active pest damage. These are the signs that your tree needs complete removal.
Structural Failure
Internal decay and split trunks turn a tree into a serious tree hazard fast.
Storm Damage
Wind and hail regularly split Bradford pears and weaken older trees in neighborhoods like Persimmon Hill and Nottington Creek.
Root Instability
Local clay soil drives root failure and girdling, especially in newer subdivisions where trees were planted too deeply.
Pest Infestation
Ash borer infestation and bagworm damage hollow out the tree structure until removal becomes unavoidable.
Space Constraints
Trees growing over driveways on E 151st St or too close to utility lines along E Kansas City Rd. need full removal.

They did nothing to protect the grass is my backyard. While cutting down the tree across the street from us they knocked branches on my tree and said nothing to me.Posted on Google![]()

I was planning to cut down a diseased chanticleer pear tree in my backyard, and needed the stump ground and removed and the branches and debris hauled off. I called Midwest and one other company. The other company never returned my call, but Midwest got back to me right away. I sent pictures, and their bid was very reasonable, in line with my expectations, so I agreed. I asked when they could do the work, and they said, "Today or tomorrow morning." I replied that I hadn't cut down the tree yet, and asked how much extra that would cost. When they told me, I couldn't believe it - I went ahead and had them remove the tree as well. They came out the next morning with a full crew. The supervisor also recommended trimming the river birch in our front yard, which we knew was needed, so they did that as well - also for a reasonable price. They were done in a few hours, did a thorough job, and left the yard clean. I highly recommend them.Posted on Google![]()

Great service at a great price. Had them come out to do some brush cleanup initially, and had two trees removed on top of that for I price I didn't think possible. They were out two days after my quote and did a great job with the removals and cleanup. Will definitely use them again.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does tree cutting cost in Olathe, KS?
The cost depends on various factors like the tree size, location, and access. Besides, clay soil and tight residential spacing can add complexity to a removal, which also affects the final price. We provide a free written estimate so you know the full scope before work begins.
Do homeowners need permission for tree cutting in Olathe?
Most private residential tree removals in Olathe don’t require a permit. Trees near city right-of-way or HOA-governed properties can be exceptions. We review site conditions before starting, so nothing gets overlooked.
What is the best time for tree felling in Kansas?
February through early April is the ideal cutting window across Kansas. Dormant trees carry a lower disease risk and show structural issues more clearly without leaf cover. Our ISA-certified arborist uses this window to assess and remove trees with less risk of spreading decay.
Do you handle emergency cutting for storm-damaged trees?
Yes, we respond to storm-damaged trees throughout Olathe. Split trunks, uprooted trees, and hanging limbs get removed before they cause further damage to your property. Contact us directly, and we’ll get a team out as soon as possible.
Will tree felling damage my property?
Not with the right approach. Our tree experts plan every cut with directional felling techniques, and we use cranes and bucket trucks to control how each tree comes down. Chainsaw work stays precise, and we clear the site completely before we leave.
